To whom it may concern,
Mr. Aaron R. Margetta Sr. was a resident at the Genesis Lighthouse in Milwaukee, WI upper level; 1314 N. 13th St. 53233. We began working with him in prison in the fall of 2019 via House of Corrections and received him in our housing component July 13, 2021; until his untimely death on July 19th 2021.
We mourn our brother and great friend and at this time we send our condolences to his family.

Genesis Lighthouse has given me a place of support and a place to live temporarily, to become successful in life and God’s word. They have mentorship and in-depth Bible studies that help us go to the next level of our faith.
I now have a job that give me time to spend with God and this will prove to be fruitful.

My name is Mark Tojek. I’m 50 years old. Born and raised in Milwaukee. I’m adopted and grew up with an abusive alcoholic father, (a high school guidance counselor) and a loving caring mother. I’ve spent half of my childhood and adolescent years in institutions, and 25 years (on and off) of my adult life in prison. All these years. I’ve been chasing after worldly pleasures and short-lived rewards and never gained any ground. God has tried getting my attention SO MANY TIMES over the years in SO MANY WAYS but I wasn’t listening. Well….now I’m ready to listen!

First, let’s start with when you are in need as a participant at the light house with the life-on-life discipleship, we learn to navigate life’s difficulties. I’m not talking about money, I’m talking about support with words of wisdom the help of job search and the study of God’s word.

My brother, Minister Frank Woods and his team, provides a well-balanced meal of inspiration, encouragement and biblical foundation that can provide a resident with the nutrition of a meaningful and purpose filled life. I thank them for seeing in me a flicker of light that has transformed me back into what God has called me to do!
