FRANK WOODS – PRESIDENT & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

About Me

After being a part of the problem in Milwaukee early on in his life, Frank has become a part of the solution. Coming from a place where most of black males have become familiar with, he knows firsthand what returning citizens are facing as they return to our communities.

Frank has been a leader for more than 21 years, and has been in ministry for 12 years. As a student at M.A.T.C Downtown-Milwaukee he studied Business mid-Management. Also, leading a co-owned record label for 10 yrs., He led in marketing and promoting various releases. Frank has also serves with The Captive Project as Assistant Executive Director, heading up different components, dealing with the inner city of Milwaukee’s high crime areas.

Frank is the President and Executive Director of Genesis in Milwaukee, and served as Assistant Minister at Christ Community Church in Milwaukee until October 2017. LaDawn, his wife of 12 years, supports him while surviving a life with diabetes type 1, she still has stood beside him faithfully for 22 yrs. nurturing their family.

OUR LEADERSHIP 

Charles has been active in churches he has attended for nearly 40 years. Sunday school teaching, small group studies, choirs, church councils, and for the last several years mission outreach. He met Frank Woods through a mutual friend, and quickly formed a friendship. Together they served on the advisory board for the “Carmelite Boys Home” in Wauwatosa. After the boys’ home closed, Frank asked Charles to serve on the Genesis board. Charles has been married to Christine Hayes over 45 years. He has three adult children and 4 grandchildren.

Father Eric Snyder is the Rector (senior pastor) of St. Michaels Anglican Church in Delafield Wisconsin. He is the husband of Denise Snyder who is a professional social worker and infant mental health specialist in Milwaukee County. She is also a proud mother of five. Eric has been in ministry for 25 years and holds a doctorate in pastoral counseling. Eric is a huge fan of the Detroit Tigers!

Russell Naragon has been married to Delores Naragon for 51 years. He is the father of 3 children, and grandfather of 6. Russel is a Navy veteran and worked as a customer service engineer for the Xerox Corporation for 37 years. He has been retired since 2010. “I am dedicated to the Lord’s work, and supporting Frank Woods and the Genesis Lighthouse Ministries.”

Al Greeler  a semi retired CPA of 30+ years. Al has been a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church for more than 47 years serving in various positions including president and treasurer. 

Married to Gwen for over 30 years. We have 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren. 

I have been and are blessed to be working with and supporting Frank Woods in the amazing kingdom work he is doing.

 

Robert Honey was born and raised in Milwaukee. He came to know Christ at the age of 26 while serving in the U.S Army.  He began public preaching in 2012, under Pastor Odell Johnson at All Saints Fellowship Christian Church. Brother Honey currently serves as an Elder in training at Friend Of Sinners  Presbyterian Church where he is active in the ministry. He’s the husband of Sis Sharon Honey, they have two children, and four ggrandchildren. Lifelong friend and mentor of Frank Woods since 17yrs.of age.
